Our music program features exciting winter and spring concerts, providing students the opportunity to showcase their talents. Students can explore a variety of instruments, with a selected group even having the chance to take violin classes. We’re proud to partner with Classroom Cantatas, a program that enhances our music curriculum by allowing students to engage in high-quality songwriting and composition. Through this initiative, students receive individual attention and work in small groups to create original songs, developing their musical skills and creativity in a collaborative environment.
Our art education includes a modern art room equipped with a variety of supplies. Students engage in different art media and take part in fun, creative projects that are meaningful to their development as scholars. This hands-on approach encourages self-expression and helps cultivate critical thinking skills.
We partner with community organizations to provide numerous enrichment opportunities for students after school, including the Boston Children’s Choir, For Kids Only, Soccer Without Borders, CAPIC, the Boys & Girls Club, the Salvation Army, and the East Boston Social Center. These programs offer students a chance to explore their interests and develop new skills in a safe and supportive environment. For more details, please visit our Extended Learning page.
